Job Title : Credit Analyst (SME)

Job Location :Abu Dhabi

Job Purpose :

  • To Assist the HOC in managing the credit risk and the lending function of AAF by analyzing, reviewing and monitoring lending portfolio of AAF and ensuring that delinquency losses are minimized.
  • Job Responsibilities :

    • To review and analyze credit proposals submitted by the business team and making recommendations as appropriate within the agreed SLA.
    • Review customer facilities on a regular basis taking into consideration latest information.
    • Analyze Customer Financial Statements using ratio and trend analysis.
    • Conduct credit checks for SME customers with Receivables Finance needs.
    • Develop and recommend credit limits through the analysis of information gathered.
    • Respond promptly and courteously to all client inquiries – timeliness is often critical to our clients’ success.
    • Maintain the credit information database.
    • Participate in the development and upgrading of departmental policies and procedure.
    • Work cohesively with the operational staff in effectively managing workload and credit risk.
    • Prepare and maintain regular credit control reports to monitor customer facilities and any irregularities.
    • Ensure all lending Documentation is complete as per the Company Policy and Procedures with respect to amount of finance, terms and conditions, borrower’s borrowing mandate, authorized signatory etc.
    • Ensure compliance with the internal policy, credit approval terms and conditions regulatory ratio / policies etc., complete set of documentation Is complete and verification, thereof, before approving any new finance request.
    • Ensure that there is a robust process for the safe custody and control of all security documents.

    Job Experience and Skills :

    • Minimum 5 years of experience Credit functions (SME, Commercial Banking) in a similar financial institution in the UAE
    • Ability to analyze financial information including company financial reports.
    • Excellent written and spoken English Language skills.
    • Self-starter who can work with minimum supervision and a team player
    • High level skills for using Microsoft applications including Word and Excel
    • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.

Job Title : Internal Auditor

Department : Internal Audit

Job Location :Abu Dhabi

Job Responsibilities :

  • Follow up with management for corrective action on significant deficiencies, findings and made recommendations to business unit management.
  • Develop the Annual Audit Plan based on the results of risk assessment exercise.
  • Provide input for the periodic reporting on audit activities and performance relative to its plans, significant risk exposures, control/governance issues and other related matters.
  • Ensures that the company complies with internal regulations and established control protocol.
  • Develop a risk-based test plan by selecting appropriate audit approach, test procedures and sampling criteria based on professional judgment and departmentally defined internal audit methodology.
  • Develop & maintain up to date and comprehensive Audit Programs to guide the performance of reviews.
  • Plan, organize and execute audits that support organizational goals and objectives.
  • Prepare and issue audit reports that document audit scope, procedures, findings and recommendations.

Job Qualifications and Skills :

  • A Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience of which at least 4 years in Banking and Finance industry in the UAE
  • Relevant professional certification is advantageous (CIA, CPA, CISA, CFE etc)
  • Advanced computer skills accounting software and databases, knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
  • Good organizational and communication skills to prepare presentations for senior managers
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to details with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Title : Relationship Manager – Liability

Department : Business

Job Location :Dubai/Abu Dhabi

Job Responsibilities :

  • To Acquire NTB clients to increase liability book of AAF and increase revenue.
  • Maintaining and enhancing relationships with key customer accounts and prospective customers to ensure liability growth.
  • To achieve individual targets against Key Performance Indicators while maintaining a high standard of service quality.
  • Understand client’s requirement to increase the AAF’s wallet share.
  • Cross sell and upsell AAF’s products and services to maximize revenue.
  • Work closely with internal departments to cover Compliance Risk, operational risk and any credit risk exposure, where applicable.
  • Ensuring provision of high quality and timely service to clients.
  • Maintain satisfactory Control & Compliance environment with full adherence to all laws and regulations and AAF Policies and Procedures.

Job Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 – 7 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or in Banking.
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication ability.
